Man Beaten and Robbed in Vienna Subway Station

After an assault on a sleeping man in the Stephansplatz underground station in Vienna's city centre, the police have now investigated a 16-year-old as a suspect. According to police officer Anna Gutt, the robbery was already committed in the night hours of February 15. The 53-year-old victim had waited on the platform for a train and had fallen asleep. Three young people shook him awake and slapped him in the face.
