The Mangalia Shipyard was sold Friday, following an auction, to Rheinmetall Real Estate Romania SRL, for 138,034.320.47 euros, without VAT, announced CITR, the judicial liquidator of Damen Shipyards Mangalia. The government welcomed the purchase and said that the restoration of the yard is important for the security of Romania in the Black Sea, for the defence industry and for the creation of jobs.
