Launched 18 months ago, the project of divestiture of the Valeo factory of Saint-Quentin Fallavier has just come to fruition. The French automotive equipment manufacturer has recently signed, for 24.5 million euros, with the Logistician Prologis. If the management of Valeo ensures that the industrial activity will be moved to another site nearby, for the representatives of the employees, this hypothesis is very unlikely.
The austerity cure continues at Valeo. In a degraded car market, the equipment manufacturer has concluded the sale of its factory in Saint-Quentin-Fallavier (Isère) to the developer Pralogis, specialized in logistics real estate. Amount of the transaction: 24.5 million euros for the land and the building, representing a total surface of nearly 90000m2.
