After oil spill in Esmeraldas, Comptroller’s Office conducts a special examination of SOTE

The Comptroller General of the State (CGE) carries out a special review of the operating and maintenance plans of the Trans-Ecuadorian Pipeline System (SOTE), by Petroecuador and related entities.

The Office of the Comptroller General of the Republic warned the National Fisheries Development Fund (Fondepes) that the contingency plan for Pacasmayo's new Handicraft Fishing Disembarkation (DPA) aimed primarily at the disposal of hydrobiological resources until the completion of the physical execution of the work would not guarantee the security condition required by the regulations.
