AIIMS to Conduct CRE-5 Exam on September 7 After Power Failure at Jaipur Centre
AIIMS will hold a fresh test after server outages and power cuts disrupted the recruitment re-exam and prompted candidates to protest, police said.
- On Monday, AIIMS cancelled the Common Recruitment Examination-5 at a Digital Zone centre in Jaipur after technical glitches disrupted the test, prompting candidates to stage a protest outside the venue.
- The examination at the Digital Zone in Sitapura began around 30 minutes late due to technical issues. Within minutes of starting, the server went down and screens repeatedly failed, forcing candidates to abandon the rooms.
- This same facility also experienced system failures during the Jaipur NEET-PG held on Sunday, when candidates faced similar power and server disruptions during online testing.
- NBEMS announced a re-examination for 2,445 affected candidates on September 5 and formed a three-member committee to investigate the internal power supply failure.
- Principal Secretary Gayatri Rathore chairs the investigation committee, which includes officials from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and the Central Electricity Authority.
