Millions knew him for his spectacular climbing videos without any backup. Now the adventurer Al-Qaqa Ibn Antar, known as the "Spider Man of Yemen", has been killed in a tragic accident. A video is supposed to show the last seconds before his fatal crash.
The influencer known as the "Spider-Man of Yemen" died after falling into the crater of a volcano while making one of its dangerous climbs and doing so without safety equipment. Al-Qa'qa' Antar al-Absi, 30, became famous for challenging huge rocky walls without ropes or harness. However, during a new feat he lost balance and fell inside the crater. Due to the extreme conditions of the place, rescue teams took several hours to recover his body.
