On May 12, another train hit a person in Guanmenyan Village, Yongding District, Zhangjiajie, Hunan, killing one person. The section of the Jiao-Liu Railway where the accident occurred passes through the village, and train hits have occurred repeatedly over the years. Last month, a 15-year-old disabled left-behind girl died on the Jiao-Liu Railway track that passes through the village, becoming the 18th unfortunate death.
