Fifteen years ago, our community faced the possibility of losing its Fourth of July fireworks celebration. Following the passing of Jim Lemieux in 2011, the tradition that Jim and Bob LaFontaine had worked so hard to build appeared destined to come to an end. Wanting to see the celebration continue, I created the Cascade Fireworks Foundation and began raising funds to keep the fireworks alive....
