Melrose District Businesses Honor Tucson Hate-Crime Shooting Victims

- Police confirmed Ousman Ceesay carried out the targeted attack driven by anti-LGBTQ+ hatred, possessing a list of other venues before dying from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
- Friends remembered the 33-year-old Capara for his activism, with best friend Alli Lee telling PBS affiliate AZPM, "I was always so proud of Cameron being there out on the streets at every protest."
- Brian King, a friend of both men, described their authenticity: "They didn't try to be anybody else, they didn't conform." Kate Márquez, Siqueiros's sister, urged addressing hatred's root causes.
