Afghanistan earthquake today: Strong tremors of 5.7 magnitude rocks Hindu Kush region

- The sequence of recent quakes — earlier this week and last month — points to sustained seismicity, with a 5.6-magnitude quake near Khuzdar, Balochistan, and similar events in Gilgit-Baltistan and Peshawar.
