The Weimar Administrative Court has found that the head of Thuringia's Office for the Protection of the Constitution, Kramer, violated his duty of neutrality. In a 2023 interview, Kramer, in his capacity as head of the agency, made impermissible and judgmental criticisms of the AfD. The court dismissed the party's lawsuit on other points. The decision is not yet legally binding.
