Super Eagles bonuses approved since November 2025 with payments underway to keep players motivated for the AFCON semi-final, NSC chairman Shehu Dikko confirmed.
- On Nov. 14, 2025, Shehu Dikko, Chairman of the NSC, said President Bola Tinubu approved the AFCON 2025 budget and funding has been fully cleared.
- Ahead of the knockout rounds, NSC negotiators and players agreed on bonuses after meetings with the Nigeria Football Federation, team captain, co-captain and senior players, Dikko said.
- Regarding payments, daily allowances have been settled while match bonuses are approved and currently processed by payment-processing teams for the Super Eagles.
- Following reports of boycott threats, Shehu Dikko said the Ministry of Finance and Central Bank of Nigeria are working to ensure timely disbursement before travel to Marrakech on Saturday.
- The Super Eagles will depart F�s for Marrakech on Thursday ahead of Saturday's match at Stade de Marrakech, with 12 goals scored so far.
