AEX Index Starts Cautiously Due to Concerns About AI and Oil

The AEX index on the Damrak started Tuesday with a small loss. Investors remained cautious due to concerns about the rapid advance of artificial intelligence (AI) and rising oil prices. Chip companies did show some recovery after the heavy losses of the previous day. These were caused by warnings from top executives in the AI sector about the security risks of the overly rapid and uncontrolled development of AI.
