Advocates, experts fear increase in food insecurity following SNAP cuts

MARION COUNTY, INDIANA, JUL 25 – Indiana has 588,184 SNAP beneficiaries facing 15-20% cuts amid new work requirements that will reduce federal spending by $5.7 billion annually starting fiscal year 2028, experts say.
