- Delegates from 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory confirmed the candidate through a voice vote conducted by state chairmen, adhering to the party's constitution and electoral guidelines.
- The convention also elected new national officers, with Prof. Sadiq Umar Abubakar Gombe as National Chairman; Senator Ugochukwu Uba secured Deputy National Chairman, while Olu Agunloye became National Secretary.
- Additional leadership positions were filled, with Hajiya Mariam Maggie Batubo elected Treasurer and Aderemi Abimbola named Legal Adviser, while Mallam Bello Ado Hussaini became Financial Secretary and Hajiya Sa adatu Abdullahi as Women Leader.
- Completing the new executive team, Daniel Ibe was appointed Youth Leader and Rosemary Effiong assumed Welfare Secretary, with Chief Lekan Alabi serving as Leader of Persons with Disabilities.
