Several deteriorating parking lots throughout Greenville may soon have city officials taking a closer look. During its May 28 meeting, the Greenville Planning Commission voted unanimously, with commissioners Jeremy Miller and Tori Brayton absent, to recommend approval of a zoning ordinance amendment that would establish maintenance standards for “off-street parking and loading areas serving nonresidential and multiple-family residential uses.”
