Another 800 kids to be tested for disease linked to alleged childcare abuser
VICTORIA, AUSTRALIA, JUL 15 – Victoria Police identified four additional childcare centres linked to Joshua Brown, with 830 families to be contacted for support and testing, authorities said.
- On Tuesday, Victoria Police's sexual crimes squad revealed four new locations and updated employment dates for 10 others, as part of their ongoing investigation.
- Authorities now believe Joshua Brown worked at 23 childcare centres between January 2017 and May 2025, affecting thousands of children,
- Early Learning Tarneit, Milestones Early Learning Braybrook and Greensborough identified, testing for sexually transmitted infections recommended, Victorian Government said.
- On family outreach, Dr Christian McGrath said 830 families would be contacted, offering wrap around supports and providing testing recommendations.
- From 15 July, 2025, Victoria Police said they will contact affected families and provide testing recommendations, as advised by the Department of Health.
