According to activists, more than 2,000 people have been arrested during the ongoing protests in Iran.
The protests in Iran are continuing. Human rights activists are now running out of thousands of arrests and at least 36 deaths.

Amid ongoing protests in Iran, more than 2,000 people have been arrested, according to activists. At least 34 demonstrators have died in clashes with state authorities since the protests began, reported the US-based human rights network HRANA. Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, meanwhile, called on security forces to exercise restraint in dealing with the nationwide demonstrations, as long as national security is not threatened.
