The entrances and exits of about ten municipalities in the south of the state of Mexico remained blocked since Monday night by taxi drivers' organizations and members of a construction union, allegedly controlled by the criminal group La familia michoacana, who rejected the operations that launched federal and state forces to combat the crime of extortion.
All the roads leading to the south of the State of Mexico, where the municipalities of Tejupilco, Luvianos, Tlatlaya, Temascaltepec and Valle de Bravo, Ixtapan de la Sal, among others, are located, were closed to vehicle traffic, resulting from an operation implemented by federal and state forces that go against houses of construction materials presumably linked to the ‘La Familia Michoacana’ cartel, which controls the area.
Transporters closed accesses in Ixtapan de la Sal and Valle de Bravo after an operation by the Prosecutor to Edomex and the National Guard.
