The bridge of the Slovak National Uprising, as it is actually called, is a road bridge built in Bratislava between 1967 and 1972 over the Danube, which bears the name after the Slovak National Uprising in 1944. It is the most famous of the six Danube bridges in the city, connects the Petržalka district with the Old Town of Bratislava and is an architectural feature that was always a bit controversial.
