About 1,500 people gathered today in a protest against the lack of water on the coast of Caparica in which they demanded solutions to the problem and called for the resignation of the president of the Almada Chamber, Inês de Medeiros.
Residents describe an "unbearable" scenario and hold the House accountable for not taking advantage of European funds to "improve the water distribution system, out of incuria or incompetence"
The residents denounce consecutive days without supply and criticize the municipal management. Inês to the street, Almada is not yours, it was one of the many slogans addressed to the autarchy, Inês de Medeiros (PS), that the protesters hold responsible for the lack of water in the county of Setúbal district.
