According to the preliminary results of the 2025 census exercise carried out by the Ministry of Health and Social Services, if this number is extrapolated to a rate per 100,000 inhabitants, the Gaspé Islands is ranked eighth in 15 regions, of which one hundred persons were identified as homeless on the day of April 15, 2025, two were either in a camp or in an outside location and 98 were homeless or incarcerated.
