Having moved from Ho Chi Minh City to the US in 2015, Kim Hieu has been accustomed to celebrating Tet (Lunar New Year) in a foreign land for over 10 years. This year, the 28th day of the lunar month is also the anniversary of her father's death, so she decided to combine the memorial service and celebrate Tet early.
