Tarn-et-Garonne: gold ingots and stolen paintings, an estimated damage of 3.5 million euros

On the night of Sunday 30 to Monday 31 March, thieves robbed a truck loaded with gold ingots and artefacts in a company located in Verdun-sur-Garonne. The vehicle was burned and abandoned in the open field.

The truck was found burned on the night of Sunday 30 to Monday 31 March. It was stolen from the parking lot of a company specializing in the transport of art objects, according to "The News".

The assault was recorded by a witness who followed the convoy and handed over the video to the Gendarmerie, who suspects possible internal collaboration.
