To mark this year's Ingeborg Bachmann anniversary, a fountain sculpture honoring the writer has been erected in Obervellach. The artwork, crafted from Krastal marble by the academic sculptor Herbert Unterberger in 2018, is intended to commemorate Bachmann's close connection to the Carinthian village.
