A surprising three races were settled in the Municipal Primary election

In a rather surprising turn, all three of the contested municipal races which could conceivably have been settled in the primary were, in fact, settled. Jeff Olson handily won the three way New Albany Mayor’s race. Olson needed to win 50% plus one of the total ballots cast in the race in order to avoid a run off.
