The Ministry of Finance proposes that the tobacco tax on e-cigarette liquids and nicotine pouches should be increased by an average of 37 percent. The excise tax on wine and so-called other fermented alcoholic beverages, such as cider, would be increased by an average of about nine percent, the Ministry of Finance says in a statement.
The Ministry of Finance also proposes to increase the excise duty on wine and cider by approximately nine percent, among other things.
