A Ship Carrying More than 320 Migrants Is Shipwrecked Off Djibouti

The tragedy, which took place on the night of Tuesday, 24 to Wednesday, 25 March, resulted in at least nine deaths and 45 disappearances, according to a report from the International Organization for Migration (IOM). The migrants had left the town of Obock, in northern Djibouti, to reach Yemen through the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, one of the most dangerous migration routes in the world, says IOM.
