A nearly 2,600-year-old warrior's grave has been unearthed in North Macedonia. The grave contained a helmet, sword, shield, and spears, as well as a thin gold shroud believed to have been used to cover the deceased's face.
A 2,600-year-old tomb of an outstanding warrior has been uncovered during the rescue excavations. The findings, reached with complete weaponry and a golden face covering, revealed burial customs typical of the military elites of antiquity.
