A 60-year-old parish priest from near Grójec (Masovian Voivodeship) has pleaded guilty to murdering an acquaintance and has been charged with manslaughter. The priest allegedly murdered the 68-year-old after an argument over money. He first struck him in the head with an axe and then set him on fire.
The spokesman for the Archdiocese of Warsaw, Father Przemysław Śliwiński, confirmed in an interview with PAP that in connection with the event in Lasopol in the Grójec district, "the parish priest of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Przypki was detained."
