In 1984, I was running a joint photo gallery with a few other photographers at the top of Miyamasuzaka. I walked from Miyamasuzaka to Cat Street, taking photos of the city for my own solo exhibitions. At the time, there were hardly any shops on Cat Street, let alone along Meiji Dori, and it was a peaceful street.
