New Left party leader Alexis Haritsis walked out of an official event at the Presidential Mansion in Athens on Thursday, held to mark the 51st anniversary of the restoration of democracy in Greece, after an accompanying Palestinian refugee was denied entry.
The President of the New Left, Alexis Charitsis, attended this year's reception for the restoration of democracy with a Palestinian refugee. However, as he complains, the refugee, Mr. Kamel Kotkot, was not allowed to enter the Presidential Palace.
