- Longtime friend Roger John told the family that Goods left his apartment to take a bus to CVS but never returned. John filed a missing persons report with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department on August 10.
- Niece Alana Calloway reported receiving suspicious messages from Goods' phone demanding money and bitcoin. Calloway grew suspicious because the sender claimed to need gas money, despite the fact that Goods does not drive.
- The family expressed frustration after a detective reportedly told them the case "did not meet the qualifications of a priority." The department maintains the missing-person investigation remains active and ongoing.
