HM Inspectorate of Prisons says it has become "more robust" in its response to a recognised drugs problem.
Positive random drug tests have dropped from 31% during its 2023 audit to 19%.
But inspectors say drugs are still "the biggest threat to the stability of the prison" and keeping them out remains a “significant challenge".
