In an effort to increase security measures in schools in Istanbul, it was announced that 3,113 garden workers will start their duties on Monday.
Istanbul Provincial Director of National Education, Murat Mücahit Yentür, stated that security measures in schools throughout the city will be increased during the 2026-2027 academic year, and that 3,013 groundskeepers, who will contribute to ensuring the safe entry and exit of students and to security and coordination in schoolyards, will begin their duties on Monday.
