A NEW ICON'S ARRIVAL: GENESIS UNVEILS GV90 FLAGSHIP SUV
- On Wednesday, Genesis revealed the GV90 flagship electric SUV at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco, marking the brand's first full-size luxury electric vehicle.
- The GV90 Neolun variant features pillarless coach doors and rides on a bespoke Electric Mobility Prime platform, with engineers reinforcing the frame 1.5 times thicker than conventional vehicles to ensure chassis rigidity without a B-pillar.
- A dual-motor system produces 657 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque, powered by a 123.5 kWh battery that Genesis estimates will recharge from 10% to 80% in 22 minutes with fast charging.
- Inside, swiveling front seats rotate 180 degrees to create a lounge-like cabin, while a 23.6-inch OLED Cinematic Display and 25-speaker Bang & Olufsen audio system transform the interior into an entertainment hub.
- Expected to launch in the U.S. early next year with an estimated starting price above $100,000, the GV90 will compete against the Cadillac Escalade IQ in the ultra-luxury electric SUV segment.
