- On Tuesday, June 16, 2026, XREAL officially unveiled XREAL AURA at the Augmented World Expo in Long Beach, California, announcing the Android XR and Snapdragon Reality Elite-powered glasses will launch this Fall across the U.S., U.K., Japan, Canada, and South Korea.
- Formerly known as Project Aura, the optical see-through glasses feature a 70-degree field of view, sub-95g weight, and 6 degrees of freedom tracking powered by a split-compute architecture with Snapdragon Reality Elite.
- XREAL opened reservations today with a $99 deposit that provides $199 credit toward the final purchase price, while announcing Best Buy as its first in-store retail partner for the U.S. launch.
