A Moose Was Hit by a Train in Joensuu

The accident caused disruption to train traffic. A moose was hit by a train in Niittylahti, Joensuu, late on Friday evening, the North Karelia Rescue Service reported. According to the rescue service, the train had collided with an unidentified obstacle in the early hours of the morning. Rescuers found the dead moose at the scene of the accident.
