One person injured, one killed after light aircraft crashes in northern Israel
Israel's Fire and Rescue Authority announced that firefighters from the Hadera station had arrived at the scene and were working to extinguish a fire which had broken out and was spreading.
One person was killed and another seriously injured in the small plane that crashed near Haifa in northern Israel near Haifa in northern Israel. The aircraft crashed in an open area near the entrance to Kafr Qara, in the area of Highway 65. Rescue forces are working to rescue the trapped person and extinguish the fire that broke out at the scene. Footage from the scene shows thick smoke and a large area that has burned. The police have blocked the road to traffic and are directing drivers to alternate routes.
