‘A life-altering event:’ Pope Leo XIV’s brother describes whirlwind after first American pope elected
- John Prevost, brother of Pope Leo XIV, described his brother’s recent election as the first American pope and his return home to Illinois.
- Prevost explained that the papal vote surprised many by how quickly it occurred and that crowds gathered massively in Rome to witness the event.
