A local man died after being hit by a boulder that fell from a hill on the Kedarnath route in Rudraprayag, Uttarakhand. Following the accident, the Kedarnath Yatra has been suspended on both sides for safety reasons. Pilgrims are not being allowed to proceed beyond Sonprayag, while pilgrims descending from Kedarnath are also currently being held back at the shrine.
