Pollution: opening of a public debate in Fos for the future of the industrial zone

A public debate to combine economic development and decarbonisation began on Wednesday, April 2, 2025. Discussions that will decide the future of Fos-sur-Mer, in the Bouches-du-Rhône, today the second most polluting industrial zone in France and that must become "low carbon" in the coming years.

A large-scale consultation will begin at 6 p.m. on 2 April in Fos-sur-Mer to enable the inhabitants to understand and express their views on the issues of future industrial projects in Fos-sur-Mer and on the edge of the Berre pond.
