The Corsican Resistor Noëlle Vincensini Died at the Age of 98

On Thursday 22 May, the Corsican Resistant Noëlle Vincensini died at the age of 98. She had been one of the 40 founding figures of the anti-racist collective Avà Basta.

Noëlle Vincensini, a leading Corsican figure of the Resistance, died on the night of May 21-22 at the age of 98. She was 17 years old when she engaged in clandestine networks at the heart of the war. This choice of youth, born from the reading of the newspapers and a deep revolt against the rise of Nazism, did not leave her.
