Following the death of a monkey in Darwari village in Madhya Pradesh's Rajgarh district, villagers organized a funeral feast. The monkey's last rites were performed with a funeral procession accompanied by DJ and band music. On the eleventh day, the village's Patel, Biram Singh Saundhiya, along with five Panchas, took the ashes to Ujjain and immersed them in the Shipra River as per the rituals and also got his beard trimmed.
