Garvin County assistant district attorney arrested, charged with DUI
A Garvin County assistant district attorney has been dismissed from his job and is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol after he was pulled over in Murray County for driving the wrong way on Interstate 35 on July 10.
A prosecutor who allegedly drove under the influence of alcohol, then insulted police officers and intimidated doctors, will remain suspended from his duties. "It's difficult to imagine that someone facing disciplinary proceedings for such acts could continue to perform prosecutorial duties," explained Supreme Court Judge Marek Siwek.
A prosecutor who drove under the influence, insulted police officers, and intimidated doctors during blood tests will not return to investigating cases. The Supreme Court refused to overturn his suspension.
