The High Court of Xustiza de Galicia (TSXG) has sentenced a company to pay compensation of 1,500 euros to a worker who received emails repeatedly outside working hours and while on medical leave due to anxiety. In judgment 3558/2025 the magistrates stress that the right to digital disconnection not only exempts the worker from answering messages outside the working hours, but also obliges the company to refrain from sending such communications.
