A Christmas tree has been standing on Old Town Square in Prague since Tuesday night. The 26-meter-tall spruce from the Děčín region, which had to be shortened by four meters, was erected by workers from the Technology of the Capital City of Prague (THMP). Its decoration will begin during the day, and on Saturday, residents and visitors to the metropolis can look forward to the first festive lighting.
It will be decorated in the coming days, and the lights in the city, which are on a similar scale to previous years, will be turned on on Monday, December 1st.
Workers from the Prague City Technology Company have installed and erected a Christmas tree on Old Town Square in Prague. The festive lighting ceremony will take place on Saturday. The spruce, which comes from the Děčín region, measured 26 meters. Technicians shortened it by about four meters for transportation.
