Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer celebrates 100 years of worship, community and faith in Cushing CUSHING — Long before the steep roofline of Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer reached toward the sky above East Cherry Street, before sunlight filtered through stained glass and warmed the wood inside the sanctuary, a handful of Lutheran families in Cushing began gathering with a simple hope. They wanted a church to call their own.
