Located on the coast of Houliao Village, Baisha Township, Penghu County, "Houliao Paradise Road" is a winding old pier extending into the sea. Viewed from the shore, it doesn't appear as a straight breakwater, but rather follows the contours of the seabed, forming a natural curve. At high tide, the reefs on both sides are covered by seawater, making the pier seem to float on the water, hence the name "Paradise Road".
