'A capable and effective leader' New fire chief named in Pigeon Forge

PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. (WATE) — After being named interim in July, Josh Carr has been officially appointed as the Pigeon Forge Fire Department's fire chief. Carr started as a volunteer with the department and rose through the ranks. Before being named chief, he was a battalion chief.
